The Flavio Vespasiano Foundation, after the big success of the 1st and 2nd edition of the International competition, continues contributing with detailed studies on the interpretation of the contemporary and modern music by enhancing that contemporary new music, whose origins are based on the not negligible heritage of the past, by organising the 3rd edition of the International Competition of Interpretation of Contemporary Music dedicated to solo performers and vocal and instrumental groups of performers.

To the competition may participate solo performers or vocal and instrumental groups, with a maximum of five performers, coming from Italy or the European Union, who are no more than thirty-five years old at 30 September 2022. For the Chamber Music groups the age-limit of the participants is thirty-five years old.

The selection of the candidates will follow the order of the sending of audio/video material.

The winners of the competition will have the possibility to perform at the fourteenth edition of the Reate Festival, which will take place in Rome and Rieti during October and November 2022.

The pieces to be presented in the competition could be selected from a repertoire that goes from the year 1945 to nowadays, including released or unreleased compositions of Italian and foreign artists. Other informations: www.reatefestival.it
